Viewing figures slump for Who Do You Think You Are?

24 Jul

According to Broadcast yesterday, the viewing figures for this weeks episode of Who Do You Think You Are? featuring Chris Moyles, were the third lowest since the show moved to BBC1 in 2006.

The audience for the Chris Moyles episode was 5.4 million or 20.2% share of the TV audience compared to 6.4 million (28.6%) for last weeks episode featuring Davina McCall.

It is still a sizeable audience, but like the commenters I feel many were put of by Chris Moyles’ reputation, which is a shame as I found it a really enjoyable episode, more so than Davina McCall’s.

I am sure the BBC are not too worried, the nice and safe (except for this) Kate Humble is next week’s celebrity, so I am sure that will give the viewing figures a boost.
